The unfortunate young man was missing for a week.
Shocking news of the death of an 18-year-old in the Yakuts ice cream of Russia, who was found dead in his car from the … cold!
Sergey Ustinov was driving his vehicle with the outside temperature showing -50, when the GPS took him in the wrong direction. With him was his friend Vladislav Istomin, who was found in critical condition.
The two friends were heading to the city of Magadan, however the GPS showed them an incorrect indication on the Kolyma road, so they took the wrong path.
After entering a dirt road, they collided, with the result that, according to Komsomolskaya Pravda, they were stranded in one of the coldest parts of the world.
Unfortunately, Sergey did not make it and died of hypothermia while the point is so far away that even cell phones could not be reached.
“On December 4, we received information about a vehicle, which was last seen in the village of Tontor. “Police and volunteers searched the area and found the missing,” said Nadezhda Dvoretskaya, a police spokesman.
