An “explosion” in the cases of the mutated strains of the coronavirus occurred in our country, as evidenced by what EODY announced on Thursday afternoon (04/03).
According to the genomic analysis, of the National Network for Genomic Surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 mutations, in 944 In total, new samples were selected for the period from January 22 to March 1, 2021. 702 executives of coronavirus mutations
The samples come from the Regions of Central Macedonia, Epirus, Ionian Islands, Thessaly, Crete, Attica and the Regional Units of Phthiotida, Viotia, Evia, Corinth, Etoloakarnania, Achaia, Mytilene and Syros.
From the control of 702 cases, 677 cases with the British mutation and 21 with the South African one.

Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 70 are considered related to travel from abroad and 2,695 are related to an already known case.
