A freighter crashed early Monday at the dock of the outer port of Tinos during mooring operations, according to the Tinos Port Authority.
The impact caused a distortion of the foreskin and the creation of a fissure 10 cm long, 2 cm wide and half a meter high above the waterline. No marine pollution was observed, the Merchant Marine Ministry announced Tuesday.
The Tinos Port Authority prohibited the departure of the freighter until the presentation of an airworthiness certificate by the classification society that monitors it, while the captain of said vessel was detained and the prescribed administrative sanctions were imposed.
