In Rhodes a case of espionage against the country was revealed. The focus is on two Greek Muslims, one working as a secretary at the Turkish consulate in Rhodes and the other as a cook on a ship on a local voyage to the Dodecanese.
The latter, who is notably from Thrace, has reportedly been photographing Greek warships and sending the photographic material to the consulate clerk.
A complaint was filed against the two for espionage (violation of article 148 of the Penal Code and of Law 376/1936 on security measures for fortified posts) in collaboration with the Attica Security Directorate.
Competent sources clarify that the consulate employee recruited the navy, the latter registering and transmitting information on the movements of the Greek soldiers and the movements of the Navy ships. admit your participation in the case.
