An inconceivable family drama seems to have unfolded in the Oreokastro area, after the location of an overturned car and the operation to free its driver.
According to GRTimes, the driver of the injured car reportedly informed EKAB rescuers at the time of his transfer that it was not a car accident, but an attempted suicide.
The 67-year-old man is said to be the father of the 20-year-old girl, who was found dead on March 30, 2020, in the same location, in the Paleokastro Dam, after falling from a great height. Her dog had been found near the 20-year-old’s lifeless body, without having clarified until now exactly what had happened then.
Today, the girl’s father, unable to bear the pain of losing his son, tried to end his life by falling from a great height with his car, without success and breaking only one side.
He was taken to the Papageorgiou Hospital, without endangering his life.
