With a carbine and a pistol in hand, three people booked shortly before 7:30 pm on Friday at a supermarket in the Nikopolis, Thessaloniki area, for the purpose of robbing.
As a witness told grtimes.gr, the perpetrators were three, two men and one woman, with a carbine and a pistol. Inside the store, where several consumers were shopping at the time, panic prevailed.
The perpetrators, according to information from grtimes.gr, one of whom was fluent in Greek, approached the cash register and with the threat of weapons managed to extract the amount of money that was inside the cash register.
Police from the DIAS and Thessaloniki Security team arrived at the scene and began the search for the people who until now are unknown with what they escaped, while the security cameras are also examined.
