He’s a cardiologist, he’s been prosecuted.
A university doctor was arrested accused of asking for an “envelope” of 5,000 euros, from a patient who was being treated in a hospital in Thessaloniki.
A complaint was lodged with the Sub-Directorate for Internal Affairs of the Northern Greek Security Forces and he was subsequently arrested when he received pre-marked tickets.
As it was known, according to the APE-MPE, it is a cardiologist, against whom criminal proceedings were initiated for bribery of an employee, an act for which he was referred to be tried in the Autóforo Criminal Court Three Members of Thessaloniki.
The court postponed hearing the case for next Monday and released him. He is said to deny the accusation.
