The new decision on the was published in the Official Gazette emergency measures protection against dispersion coronavirus in Attica relative to time from today, September 26, 2020 to October 4, 2020.
According to the decision, the operation of private companies is suspended in relation to the following activities and provided that it is offered live music:
(a) Bar services provided by a dance center (KAD 56301001).
(b) Services provided by an entertainment center-cabaret or nightclub (KAD 56301009).
(c) Services provided by an entertainment center-cafeteria (KAD 56301010).
(d) Services provided by a nightclub (KAD 56301011).
(e) Services provided by a nightclub (nightclub 56301012) and
f) Concert hall services (KAD 90041009).
It is observed that the suspension of the operation in the aforementioned commercial activities does not occupy the performance of work without the presence of the public.
An administrative fine of 5,000 euros is imposed for each offense.
Maximum number of participants in public or social events
There is a maximum of 9 participants in any act or public or social meeting, regardless of whether it takes place in public or private, indoor or outdoor, (without prejudice to the outdoor public meetings of article 11 of the Constitution and of Law 4703 / 2020, A ‘131). Specially in weddings, christenings, funerals, as well as receptions or other events associated with these ceremonies, a maximum of 20 participants is established.
The measure does not refer to the operation of stores of natural interest, the operation summer movies and conducting practical tests carried out by the Supreme Personnel Selection Council (ASEP) in open spaces.
In case of infringement, fines of 150 euros are imposed on individuals and companies or individuals who organize events, from 3,000 to 5,000 euros and the suspension of operations for 15 calendar days.
Rules of operation of stores of natural interest.
The operation of health stores is prohibited from 12:00 at night until 5:00 pm the next day. The prohibition covers the activities of restaurant services and mobile catering units / KAD 56.10, catering / KAD 56.30 and catering for events (catering) KAD 56.21 including these eight-digit numbers, as well as the operation of the property for events and events) / KAD 93.29.11.03 and organization of entertainment events (weddings and the like) / KAD 93.29.19.01.
The activities of the aforementioned companies are allowed only in the part related to the distribution of products (delivery), the services of packaged products from the store (take away) observing the distance of 1.5 meters between customers, as well as the drive-through and, however, excluding the provision of alcoholic beverages by all stores that carry out the activities occupied by the KAD from the specific decision.
It should be noted that the provision also applies to similar activities provided within tourist accommodation.
The maximum number of people allowed in each company seat is 6 people.
In case of infringement, the sanctions reach a fine of 10,000 euros and suspension of operation for up to 20 calendar days.
Suspension of operation of private retail companies
The operation of any type of retail business, such as kiosks, mini markets, wineries, tobacconists, grocery stores, bakeries, confectioneries, suspended from 12:00 midnight to 5:00 pm the next day. The suspension does not apply to pharmacies, gas stations and vending machines, except for the supply of alcoholic beverages.
However, preparation, production and maintenance work by the working personnel of the aforementioned companies is allowed.
In companies that operate in violation of the law, a fine of 5,000 euros is imposed for each violation.
Temporary suspension of concerts and operation of winter cinemas and theaters, as well as summer theaters
Concerts in any place, the operation of cinemas and theaters for the purpose of conducting live performances and auditions, as well as the performance of all kinds of performing arts anywhere, are temporarily suspended. The operation of summer cinemas is excluded from suspension.
Companies or individuals that organize concerts or operate cinemas and theaters in violation of the law are fined 5,000 euros for each violation.
Rules of operation of summer cinemas.
The following rules are observed during the operation of summer cinemas:
(a) Staff and spectators, both during arrival and departure and during the screening, are required to wear a non-medical protective mask.
(b) The creation of empty space or empty space for 2 seats is ensured, so that the fullness does not exceed sixty percent (60%).
2. In case of infringement, spectators are imposed an administrative fine of up to 5,000 euros and suspension of operation for 15 calendar days and a fine of 150 euros.
Rules of operation of public markets
Public markets operate as follows:

(b) In each public market of active sellers, according to their license, sellers participate at a rate of 50% per category of sellers (producers and professionals respectively).
(c) The operators of the public markets publish a table with the participants, each time, sellers (producers and professionals) in the public markets of their responsibility.
(d) The minimum distance between the vendors’ stands is set at 3 meters with the space free of objects.
In case of infringement, the public market operator is subject to an administrative fine of up to 10,000 euros and suspension of market activity for 15 calendar days and for both sellers to a fine of up to 3,000 euros and suspension of activity in any market public for up to 30 calendar days.
Workplace protection measures
In all types of workplaces, public and private, the use of a non-medical protective mask is mandatory. Those who work in a private space, without the presence of any other person, are exempt from the obligation of the previous paragraph.
In case of infringement, the fine is 150 euros.
The service of the public in public services is carried out only in urgent cases, by appointment and can be done until 4:00 p.m. for all services that end until 3:00 p.m. according to the provisions of general application.
It should be noted that the obligation to use a mask, when available, excludes:
(a) people for whom the use of a mask is not indicated for medically proven medical reasons, such as respiratory problems, and (b) children under 3 years of age.
