The “adventure” will have a happy ending with the operation of the KDAP (Creative Employment Centers for Children) in the country’s municipalities, which would put thousands of jobs at risk.

As confirmed to iefimerida.gr by Spyridon Spyridon, Executive Director of the Hellenic Society for Local Development and Self-Government (EETAA), the interior minister Takis Theodorikakos gave “green light” to emergency funding, so that jobs are not lost and children are absorbed into the KDAP.

Mr. Theodorikakos, speaking with ANT1, pointed out that “what the Ministry of the Interior can do exceptionally is No Creative Employment Center for Children in the Municipalities should be closed and no employee who has a contract with the center should be fired.. The problem concerns a number of 700 to 1000 employees. We discussed it yesterday at a meeting on KDAP. Not a single employee leaves his position because the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decides to carry out a special program to strengthen the KDAP mwith 10 million euros so as not to fire any employee. “
