In 1,327 new cases are reported coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours, according to information from EODY.
Less than yesterday, but consistently high levels remain incidents in Attica and Achaia, while noticing an increase in Thessaloniki. Specifically:
- 676 are in Attica (795 yesterday).
- 129 are from Thessaloniki (101 yesterday).
- 94 in Achaia (112 yesterday).

Today we announce 1,327 new cases of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), of which 8 were detected after checks at the country’s entry gates. The total number of cases is 168,872, of which 51.9% are men. During the follow-up, it was found that 6088 (3.6%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 54146 (61.1%) are related to an already known case.
281 people are treated by intubation. Their average age is 70 years. 203 (72.2%) of those intubated are men. 85.4% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 1,194 patients have been discharged from the ICU since the start of the pandemic.
Finally, we have 22 new deaths from the COVID-19 disease, reaching 6056 deaths in total in the country, of which 3560 (58.8%) men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 95.6% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
