The Union of Administrative Judges decided to go on strike

The Board of Directors of the Union of Administrative Judges, in protest at the operation of the courts during the prohibition measures for a pandemic, decided unanimously on Friday, November 6, 2020, to go on strike.

More specifically, the work stoppage will bring … an interruption of all sessions of the Administrative Courts of the country, on Friday, 11/6/2020, for half an hour and the reading by the president of the court of the following text:

“The administrative judges protest because, despite the fact that our Union proposed the presentation of statements for the discussion of the cases in a timely manner, the Government, choosing the satisfaction of union interests over the protection of public health, proceeded with the operation of the courts, without restrictions. We want open courts, but safe for everyone. We ask the Government to reconsider this decision and symbolically interrupt the meeting for 30 minutes ”.

It is recalled that for the same reason, by decision of the College of Judges and Prosecutors, judges and prosecutors will go on strike next Friday (from 9 to 12 hours).
