The latest epidemiological data and the increase in the number of coronavirus cases show one thing: how all the scenarios are on the table for what will open on February 1 in the middle of the closure.

The situation tends to turn worrying and everything is being re-examined. Nothing is safe. Even the opening of Gyms – Lyceums on Monday is in the “air”, as the cases are many and increasing. The question is whether (now that retail has just opened, as well as hair salons, while Lyceums and High School students prepare to go back to school) the system can hold out. And especially if the “plague” of the coronavirus picks up schools and businesses at the same time as of Monday.
The three scenarios are:
• Open high schools and gyms and close the retail trade.
• Close barbershops and beauty salons to give students an epidemiological “space”.
• To operate the Gyms and Lyceums but also the market with a click away so that there is no padlock anywhere.

However, as Sp. Lambrou concluded in his report, everything will be judged by the number of cases in the next two days. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis himself asked everyone for silence until Friday, when all the data will be put on the table and he will make the final decision on what will and will not open from Monday, February 1.
