The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs protested to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, while the Ambassador of Greece in the country, N. Piperigos, was summoned to Athens for consultations. The reason is the non-existent and offensive denunciations of the Azerbaijani government about the alleged tolerance of the Greek state in the preparation of terrorist acts, in attempts to recruit terrorist fighters and cyber attacks from Greek territory against Azerbaijan.

“Following the completely non-existent and offensive denunciations by the Government of Azerbaijan about the alleged tolerance of the Greek State in preparation of terrorist acts, in the efforts to recruit terrorist fighters and cyber attacks from Greek territory against Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan, within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Relations Strict protest action against the Ambassador of Azerbaijan.
“Following the demonstration, the Greek ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mr. N. Piperigos, was summoned to Athens for consultations, by decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias.”
