A stray cat was desperately banging on the windows until someone opened them. And as it was found after a check-up at a vet, she had frostbite, rotten teeth, and worms and probably wouldn’t come out in the winter.
An anonymous woman from Quebec, Canada, was surprised to find a large orange cat banging on a window in the snow, looking perhaps for a little warmth. He snapped a photo of the stray animal and contacted Marie Simard, the owner of the Un Chat à la Fois animal shelter, who was quick to help.

Marie, who named the cat Aslan, said it had “rotten teeth, frostbite, bites (bleeding somewhere on its body), fleas, worms, diabetes, and a skin allergy,” and told BoredPanda that it had recovered since : it is a very affectionate cat. He forgot his previous life, he does not like living outdoors. He prefers to sleep on his pillow and likes to be caressed. ”
A check-up found that the tabby cat, named Aslan, after the lion in The Chronicles of Narnia, was not wild and was a lost pet. Marie believes that her irresponsible owners abandoned her and while she “looked everywhere” she could not find who abandoned her. Meanwhile, she added: “The blood function was very bad and she had to stay in the doctor’s office for a few more days to stabilize her condition before going to a foster family.” The vet said Aslan was so sick and exhausted that he would not have survived the winter if he had not received immediate attention.
