Arcturos, founded in 1992, promotes the protection of wildlife, biodiversity and sustainability in Greece and abroad through field research, scientific studies, public awareness, environmental education and volunteering.

Arcturus implements national and transboundary programs for the protection of mountain ecosystems with an emphasis on large mammals with the aim of integrated management of Protected Areas and the provision of specific knowledge for interventions in the natural environment.
