The Metropolitan of Alexandroupolis Anthimos was visited by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
During their dialogue with the television crews, the metropolitan expressed his gratitude to the prime minister for the effective response to what happened on the Greek-Turkish border last February and March.
“He made us feel safe and proud,” the metropolitan told Mr. Mitsotakis.
At one point, the discussion reached the prime minister’s son, Constantine, who is doing his military service in Alexandroupolis.
Mr. Mitsotakis noted that his son, with whom he met on Friday night (photo), will remain for his entire term in Evros, from where he will be fired. At this point the metropolitan said “well done” to the prime minister because, as he commented, parents come to take their children who serve here and take them to another place to serve.
After meeting with the metropolitan, the prime minister visited his son at the camp he serves.
