The direct intervention of the Vice Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, to avoid new cases of crown on a beach in his area, is requested in a letter with the indication “Extremely urgent”, the mayor of Saronic Petros Filippou.

This is the Pefko Lagonisi beach, where an intruder has arbitrarily placed a large number of umbrellas without complying with the security regulations established by law due to COVID-19.

In the relevant announcement, Mr. Filippou states that the Municipality, in its continuous letters to the Public Real Estate Company SA, has requested since the winter that it be allowed to proceed with the removal of the constructor’s buildings without receiving a response.

This time, due to the health crisis, he asks for the intervention of N. Hardalias, to avoid danger on this beach in view of the extremely high temperatures expected over the weekend.
