The metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Ieronymos, was placed under house arrest, according to an announcement by Holy metropolis.
As it was known, a collaborator of the Holy Diocese found positive for coronavirus.
An issued announcement states the following:
«The Holy Diocese of Larissa and Tyrnavos announces that His Eminence the Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Ieronymos, will be placed under house arrest tonight as a precautionary measure.
“His Excellency urges everyone to strictly observe the measures announced by the Greek State, demonstrating responsible care and prudent foresight. At the same time, we ask everyone to intensify our prayers for God to deliver the universe from the ensuing pandemic.».
