The number of coronavirus deaths in Greece is in triple digits for another day. There continues to be strong pressure on the health system with 583 intubated patients.
EODY announced 1,395 new cases of the new coronavirus in the country, of which 9 were detected after controls at the country’s entry gates. The total number of cases is 122,648, of which 52.6% are men.
5076 (4.1%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 34774 (28.4%) are related to an already known case.
Of the 1,395 new cases, 295 were detected in the Attica region, 357 in the Thessaloniki region, 80 in the Serres region, 75 in the Magnesia region.

Furthermore, the cases are relatively minor in patients over 65, an auspicious fact because as Ms. Papaevangelou said, we know that serious illness and loss of life are associated with old age.
