One of the people who inextricably links his name with Diego Maradona is Peter Silton.
The English goalkeeper “fell victim” to the Argentine in the 1986 World Cup quarter-finals, during which Maradona, after an aerial claim with Silton, opened the scoring with the “hand of God.”

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Shilton admitted that Maradona was the best forward he has faced in his career, but added on the most famous football phase of all time: “What I don’t like is that he never apologized. Case admitted that he cheated and would like to apologize. Instead, he used the phrase “hand of God.” It wasn’t fair. “But I’m sorry to hear about his death at such a young age.”
It is noted that Diego Maradona “passed away” on the night of November 25, betrayed by his heart at the age of 60.
