The founder of the MARKET IN chain, Thomas Rammos, dies

Market In Business Group founder Thomas Rammos passed away from complications from the coronavirus, according to an announcement issued by the Group’s Board of Directors and his family.

With a feeling of deep pain, the MARKET-IN Business Group announces the metastasis to Eternal Life of the founder of the THOMAS RAMMOS Group.

His Business Course, Achievements and Vision continue to inspire us to follow his example and continue his work in all areas of our activities, always alongside the Employees and Partners of our companies and the Greek Consumer.

The exit sequence will take place in a close family circle, strictly observing the State’s measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

With pain, I was informed of the death of our fellow citizen Thomas Rammos, 72, founder and president of the company “MARKET IN”, who unjustly left the battle against the coronavirus.

Thomas Rammos was born in Analipsi, Thermo Township. He founded the MARKET IN company in 1990, which today has more than 200 stores in Greece and employs at least 3,000 employees. He was a genuine patriot since he hired Etoloakarnanes in their operations, supported the Holy Monasteries, associations and bodies of the Municipality of Thermo.
