There are two elements that alarmed the experts that led to the “blocking” of the opening of retail trade.
Initially the hospitalizations and the resistance of the system in specific areas and the explosion of active cases.
In Thessaloniki, the increase in hospitalizations in the last month is 270.97% and the number of ICUs today is 90%.
In Acaya there is constant pressure in the two large hospitals as in the rest. At + 164% are hospitalizations in a month.
The picture is worse in Kozani with a 221% increase in hospitalizations in a month and they have been forced to send patients to other prefectures.
Active Case Explosion
In the municipality of Thessaloniki in the last ten days the active cases are + 45.69%
In the prefecture of Acaya the increase is of the order of 46.89% and in the municipality of Kozani 57.56%.
