The National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced today 2,422 new laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Greece, of which 6 were identified after checks at the country’s gates. The total number of cases is 78,825, of which 53.8% are men.

443 patients are intubated. Their average age is 65. 143 (32.3%) are women and the rest are men. 81.5% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older.
392 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 63 more registered deaths and 1,228 deaths in total in the country, 502 (40.9%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 80 years and 97.2% had some underlying disease and / or 70 years or more.
