Several Android 10 members seem to have a lot of trouble with the latest update XDA Developers, according to today’s post on the eponymous blog. According to reports, many owners of OnePlus, Xiaomi, Pixel and other devices report that in many cases their devices do not respond every time an app freezes.
The first information came from Artem Russakovskii, creator of androidpolice.com, who said on his Twitter account that, in his own Pixel 4 XL, when an application “freezes” on Android 10, The user interface is completely “stuck”, to the point that it does not respond completely. So when this happens the user can’t end the app, go to the home screen or open the notification window! The only way to recover the device is to lock it and then use it again.
Another thing that really bothers me on the Pixel 4 XL: When an app freezes, it offers locks on the entire user interface. Notifications, home gestures – everything stops responding.
Sometimes the user interface unfreezes when the app does it, sometimes the app stays frozen.

According to XDA Developers members, the problem is mostly with Google Pixel smartphones, but several other OnePlus and Xiaomi mobile device owners have reported similar issues. Please note that the problem is NOT the default launcher of Android 10, as those who use Nova Launcher, Action Launcher, etc. they have similar problems.
The apps that “freeze” and paste the system are mainly Amazon, Twitter, YouTube, YouTube Music, and the Google Play Store, while the Android 11 developer preview seems to have similar issues! Google has not yet commented on the matter, but a solution is expected for future updates.
