The specific service acted immediately and on August 20 prepared the first file, corresponding to three cases, and sent it to the Prosecutor’s Office. The results were immediate, as the group’s page with 14,000 members went down the next day, but new groups began to appear.
Today it is estimated that open groups on social networks (that is, those that are accessible to all users) reach thirty. Most of them are for actions throughout Greece, but there are also local groups made up of mask deniers for an area of Greece (for example, Komotini) or even a school. Thus, there are groups with thousands of members and others in which a few dozen or hundreds of citizens participate. In many cases, in these groups, administrators and members, in addition to posting and commenting, also make online calls asking people for dynamic reactions, while in many cases they urge parents to go down to the demonstrations taking their minor children. old. But who are the managers of these profiles on Facebook or other social networks?
