Tragedy at noon this Thursday in Keratea, when a 24-year-old man lost his life when he fell with his car on a 140-meter cliff.
George, 24, was driving his car towards the Kakia Thalassa. His car went off the road and fell off a 140-meter cliff.
Then it “stuck” in the middle of the slope and remained suspended for hours in a vacuum.
A passing driver saw the car from afar and immediately reported it to the Police and Fire Department.
An operation was organized to rescue him and recover the car, at the scene, strong forces of firefighters, 14 firefighters with six vehicles, as well as a team from the 1st EMAK, rushed to tie the car to special belts.
However, despite their efforts, they failed to resurrect the 24-year-old.
What the 24-year-old’s friends revealed
“They say he left a note for his family,” said a friend of the 24-year-old. “It was heard that he has sent a message to his parents that he will end his life,” a friend of the young man told ANT1.
The information indicates that George, 24, has been missing since Thursday morning. Friends and family were looking for him, since he had not shown any signs of life. A few hours later, the police learned of the tragic event, plunging his family, relatives and friends into grief.
Everyone close to him tells of a quiet boy who did two jobs and offered money to his family.
