A Greek Orthodox church in Lyon, France, was recently attacked.
According to the French News Agency, there is at least one injured. It is the priest of the church, of Greek citizenship, who just closed the church.
According to BFMTV, citing police sources, the perpetrator was alone, he approached the priest while closing the church on Saint Lazare street and shot him twice with a shotgun.
The priest is said to have been shot twice with a shotgun chained to his chest and is said to be in serious condition, while the author escapes from arrest.
The Interior Ministry tweeted that the incident took place in the Jean-Mare area of Lyon’s 7th arrondissement and that security and rescue forces had rushed to the scene.
