The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have announced 6,467,481 cases of coronavirus, an increase of 40,423 cases compared to its previous count.
As reported, the number of deaths increased by 807 and now amounts to 193,195.
The CDC announced its count of cases of respiratory illness known as COVID-19, caused by a new coronavirus, at 11:00 p.m. GMT on September 12 compared to its previous count a day earlier.
CDC figures do not necessarily reflect cases reported individually by States.
