the extension of teleworking throughout the country for the month of November establishes a Joint Ministerial Decision. According to the JMC, the mandatory measure will be implemented starting tomorrow morning teleworking at 50% for all of November, provided changes in the arrival and departure times of employees.
All companies must complete and submit Form 4.1 “Declaration of Distance Learning – Special Purpose Form”.
This special form with which employers will proceed to declare compulsory teleworking, is already available in the “Ergani” information system.
Those who do not implement the measure risk a fine of 3,000 euros.
Teleworking must be announced in advance, as happened in April.
It is observed that the obligation of teleworking to 50% of the personnel who can work remotely now valid for all Greece in one, whether the region belongs to a surveillance zone or a higher risk zone.

- Schools and in general the educational structures of the Ministry of Education.
- Hospitals and health structures in general,
- Pharmacies,
- Supermarket food companies and
- Messengers.
The 50% calculation takes into account the number of people actually employed on the company’s premises, whose work can be provided remotely.
Of the previous percentage They are excluded employees whose contracts are suspended, as well as employees who are on any type of legal leave (such as maternity, sickness, etc.).
The provision also applies in cases of employees whose working time is divided into office work and outside work, and only to the extent that office work can be provided remotely.
Regarding the completion of the form Ε.4.1. the following clarifications were given:
The remarks field indicates the total number of company employees, who can put in remote work.
