“There is a daily increasing trend in cases in areas that are in the red zone or have the potential to go from orange to red. An increase in cases leads to an increase in hospitalizations and admissions to ICUs,” he said speaking with SKAI .

“We have not yet reached the third wave, we are in efforts to stabilize the second wave,” Survinos said. “There may be other mutations that give the virus the advantage of increasing its transmissibility,” he said.
