The supermarkets and stores that operate with click away are closed on New Year’s Eve, as well as on Saturday, January 2, the day when inventory is usually carried out.
As for when they will open, there is the possibility of optional operation on the first Sunday of the year (January 3), with suggested hours (07: 00-21: 00).
The relevant JMC states the following:
-Possibility of operation on January 3, 2021, with optional opening hours from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. grocery stores, excluding pharmacies and mechanical workshops.
-Four (4) people up to 100 m2. and one (1) person for every 10 square meters. Further.
-Distance of 1.5 meters between people.
-Special disinfection in wheelbarrows / baskets and not, when they exist, with the development of a daily disinfection program, which is presented to the competent authorities.
As for supermarkets, not everything will work out, with several chains announcing that their stores will remain closed and will normally open on Monday, January 4.
