Read the PULSE survey in detail
According to the findings of the latest SKAI and PULSE survey for 2020, featured in the main newsletter with Sia Kosioni, the government is showing resilience in the surveys, despite the severe health crisis.
In the intention to vote, with a reduction of the valid ones, the “gap” between the ruling party and the official opposition is 16%, and the explanation can be given to quality indicators, as in the question “which government would do better “ND leads by a double digit difference (modernization – digitization of the state, crime and security, Greek-Turkish and international, etc.) while it is characteristic that when dealing with the pandemic and health crisis, ND leads with 21 points percentage.
Looking at the recent Summit, the vast majority (95%) believe that Ankara will continue with the challenges.
Intention to vote
In particular, in voting intention, with a reduction in valid numbers, ND leads with 40% against 24% for SYRIZA (16 percentage points difference), the Movement for Change has 7%, the KKE 6 %, the Hellenic Solution 4.5% MERA 25 3%, another party chooses 7%, undecided – I don’t know / no answer affirms 8.5% of the respondents.
In the intention to vote with all the answers, ND collects 38%, SYRIZA registers 23%, KINAL 6.5%, KKE 5.5%, Hellenic Solution 4%, MERA 25 2.5%, declares another party 7 %, invalid – white – abstention 5.5% while I do not answer – undecided 8%.
What government would do better?
When asked which government would do better to modernize and digitize the state, 49% say ND and 18% SYRIZA, in the fight against crime and security, 47% of respondents answer ND and 21% SYRIZA, in the pandemic and 44% say ND and 23% SYRIZA, in economy and development 41% respond ND and 23% SYRIZA, in international and Greek-Turkish 40% say ND and 23% SYRIZA and in immigration / refugees 40% of the Respondents report ND and 21% SYRIZA.
“Turkey will continue with its provocative actions”
To the question of whether after the decisions of the Summit Turkey will continue the provocative actions towards our country, 95% in total answered sure (70%) or rather yes (25%), while 3% in total answered probably not (2%) or definitely not (1%).
2021: Optimism for the exit of the pandemic state modernization, pessimism for the economy and Greco-Turkish
Looking at the new year, citizens are more pessimistic about the economy with 22% saying things will go a little – much better, 21% up – down the same and 49% a little – much worse.
In Greek-Turkish and International, 18% of respondents say things will go a little, much better, 33% up, down the same, and 40% a little, much worse.
In contrast, in the pandemic and the health crisis, 39% of those surveyed say things will go a little, much better, 26% up and down the same, and 26% also a little, much worse.
In the modernization and digitization of the state, 42% of those surveyed estimate that things will go a little – much better, 33% up – down the same and 15% a little – much worse.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis emerges as the most suitable prime minister with 45% against Alexis Tsipras’ 25% (45% – 23% in the previous poll).
