Vienna is currently living in terror. The Austrian police have urged Viennese citizens to stay indoors and avoid public spaces, as their operation takes place in the heart of the city, at the Inner Stat.

In posts on Twitter, the police demanded that “rumors, accusations, speculation” not be made, nor that unconfirmed information about the victims be announced. “It doesn’t help at all,” he said.
In another message, which was published in several languages, the police authorities asked citizens who have videos of the events not to post them on social media, but to hand them over to the police to help them in their work.
