An unthinkable tragedy shocked London when a 25-year-old nurse killed her 2-year-old daughter and then committed suicide.
Shiwangi Bagoan, 25, and Ziana, 2, were found dead in the Old Meadow area of West London. An autopsy of their bodies showed that both had been poisoned with drugs, which were missing from the warehouse of the hospital where Shiwangi worked.
The lifeless bodies were found by Shiwangi’s mother, with medical “butterflies” in her arms.
“There were butterflies on both victims,” the coroner said.
Bagoan worked as an anesthesiologist assistant at London University Hospital.
So far, the reasons that led the 25-year-old mother to the step granted are unknown.
