Cretan police arrested the second person involved in the murder of the businessman in Chalkida.
It is recalled that the 51-year-old businessman was found dead in his home by his sister on November 12. Police found the 27-year-old Syrian moving down a street in the Crete village of Messara, where he had found refuge.
After an inspection of him but of the house where he lived, it was confirmed that he was the alleged perpetrator of the murder of the 51-year-old man in Chalkida.
The 27-year-old was transferred and is being detained at the Heraklion police station, while in the next few hours he is expected to be transferred to Chalkida, where he will be taken before the judicial authorities.
On Saturday, a 46-year-old Syrian was arrested in the case in the Netherlands, following a European order issued by the Hellenic Police.
