Shocking new revelations come to light about the savage murder in Saint Barbara with the victim a 50-year-old woman.
The victim’s 15-year-old daughter and her 17-year-old partner confessed to the murder, while authorities search for another minor who was involved in the heinous crime.
They had been planning the assassination for a month.
In her testimony, the 15-year-old girl claimed that her mother had made her life unbearable after her father’s death. As he said, he threatened to lock her up in a reformatory.
However, the new evidence emerging is that the two minors allegedly planned the murder a month ago.
The 17-year-old partner of the 15-year-old, who recently lived with her and her mother in their home, revealed that it was not the first time they tried to kill her.
According to ERT, the minor told police that they initially tried to kill her by giving her pills. When that didn’t work, they tried to get poison, but failed and ended up with the knife.
How the heinous crime happened
The murder of the 50-year-old man occurred Thursday night, when the victim was sleeping.
The 17-year-old and his partner tied up the woman and then took a knife they found at home and managed to stab her several times in the neck and face.
They then tried to transport her with a sheet to another place and, failing that, left her dead in the apartment and disappeared.
They were planning to escape to Romania.
In fact, the couple took a bus and went to Serres where they were located by the Authorities and were taken into custody.
The two planned to cross the border and reach Romania, where the 17-year-old hails from, via Bulgaria.
A dossier was drawn up for the case, which was forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor in Athens and forwarded to the main trial.
