Salos has been provoked in recent days with the advertising publication made by Sakis Rouvas on Instagram, for the promotion of a Mercedes car outside the Herodeion.
The advertising post was withdrawn, while the Ministry of Culture issued an announcement on Sunday (09/27), clarifying that there were no relevant licenses.
Specifically, the announcement from the Ministry of Culture said: According to information from the services of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Mercedes’ announcement with Mr. S. Rouvas did not receive the corresponding license. Therefore, the competent Antiquities Office of the City of Athens will apply the provisions of Law 3028/2002 ”.
Following the dimensions of the issue, the renowned singer wanted to publicly apologize for his publication and did so through an insta story on his personal Instagram account.
As he wrote: “My concert with Sonia Theodoridou at the Herodeion was one of the most important moments in my career and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to sing in this iconic space. I regret that this moment was connected with me, unfortunately, with an inappropriate promotional post on my social networks, about my collaboration with a company, which I was not aware of. As soon as we realized the mistake, the message fell as respect for our monuments and cultural heritage is a fact and unquestionable. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. “
