“…. The ambulance took the child to the lobby and then to the laboratory to start the anesthesia process. While the child was under anesthesia and intubated, while I was in the position on the child’s side, at some point I bent over, I don’t remember why, I unconsciously looked at the patient who was uncovered on the operating table. What I saw was a sudden withdrawal of the hand of the carrier of the child’s genitalia. This lasted for fractions of a second. I saw the abrupt withdrawal from this point. The moment I told them that I saw the boy withdraw his hand, it was completely uncovered, that is, naked. It was on his left at hip level. I had the sensation that the injured man was looking at me with his eyes, possibly because he had noticed the movement of his hand.

That day was the first time that I worked with the specific hospital ambulance, I did not know him and I did not work with him again ”.
The prosecutor had ordered a preliminary investigation at the Attica Security Directorate for the Protection of Minors and a few days later, and while the investigation was being completed, the judicial authorities ordered them to detain the 60-year-old man.
They located him at his home in Ampelokipi and after handcuffing him they took him to apologize. Before the investigator, the accused denied the facts attributed to him, attributing the whole case to a misunderstanding on the part of the complainants.
He also claims that he never gave up his rights during his many years in the hospital.
