Turkey fired a missile in an area in the Black Sea where it was going to test Russian S-400s, Reuters reported, noting that it also had video.

It is recalled that Turkey blocked areas in the Black Sea with NAVTEX and NOTAM, in order to carry out the first tests of Russian anti-aircraft missiles S-400.

As reported by the correspondent for “Kathimerini” and “SKAI” in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis. Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone yesterday with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşo .lu with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

It is recalled that last week the S-400s moved to the city of Sinope on the Black Sea.

Turkey’s decision to acquire the Russian S-400s is one of the most important points of friction with the United States and NATO. Indeed, Washington has repeatedly asked Ankara to abandon its anti-aircraft missiles.

However, the Turkish side has rejected the calls from the United States, thus it has been excluded from the American development program of fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets.
