Payment retroactive to 25,000 heirs of deceased retirees, who have finally submitted the required documents to their online platform e-EFKA until February 28, 2021, according to the calendar announced by the agency at the beginning of the year, including, among other things, the scheduling of payments by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the e-EFKA and the OAED, for the week of March 8-12.
This payment is scheduled for March 10.
In particular, as mentioned in a relevant ad:
1. The following payments will be made by e-EFKA in the period from March 8 to 12:
Regular payments:
- 12.1 million euros to 690 beneficiaries of the lump sum award.
- 8,800 euros to 14 beneficiaries for supplementary pension inheritance benefits.
Extraordinary payments:
- 17 million euros to 25,000 beneficiaries for the retroactive payment to heirs of deceased pensioners.
- 185 thousand euros to 580 beneficiaries for the payment of overdue health benefits to the insured.
- 300 thousand euros to 140 beneficiaries of the support endowment of the former TAFTEKO.
2. OAED will make the following payments:
- 34 million euros will be paid to 75,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
- € 45 million will be paid to 40,000 beneficiaries of subsidized employment schemes.
- € 500,000 will be paid to 950 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
3. Finally, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs plans the payments of the special-purpose allowances. in relation to the suspensions of contracts for the period from March 2020 to February 2021 (for which supplementary declarations have been submitted), as well as for the special purpose license for the period from March 15, 2020 to December 31 2020.
