Retirees: Increase and retroactively up to 6,912 euros

[ad_1]

At the end of the December pensions, the increases will be paid together with the retroactive ones for those who receive a temporary pension for the increase provided for by the new insurance law.

Specifically, as of November 24, increases up to 285 euros and retroactive ones from 1,150 euros to 6,912 euros will begin to be paid in all temporary pensions that were issued as of 5/13/2016. Raises and retrospectives refer to thousands of pending retirees who have applied since 5/13/2016 and their final pension has not been issued.

The temporary in the Employee Funds increases to 80% of the average salary of the last year, instead of the 50% that was calculated in the applications of 5/13/2016. For self-employed, self-employed and farmers, it increases to 70% of the average monthly income of the last 12 months, instead of the 50% that was calculated in the applications of 5/13/2016. In widowhood pensions, the temporary increases to 70% of the deceased’s pension and in fact the final pension will be received from the beginning, since it corresponds to 70% of the deceased’s pension.

People with disabilities will be paid, according to the degree of disability, as follows: a) temporary 75% with a disability rate of 67% to 79.99% and b) temporary 50% with a disability of up to 66.99%. In addition, they come retroactively when a retirement application has been submitted since 5/13/2016 and the final pension has not been issued. The temporary increase in the pension applies to those who have submitted their applications on paper and not electronically.

Heirs

Regarding the retrospectives of the heirs (which will be paid at the end of December), the electronic platform for the presentation will open soon (within the week) – after a relevant announcement from the competent ministry – at http://efka.gov.gr of requests for retroactive heirs. 172,222 beneficiaries who receive death pensions belong to this category.

The beneficiaries of pensions and retrospectives, to receive the amounts, must make their request electronically on the EFKA platform that opens in a few days and the inheritance has not been denied, while the pensioner must have died after eleven months. or during it. The heirs will not pay taxes on the amounts they receive.

The electronic platform for the necessary submission of applications was developed and on Friday, November 13, its first trial operation took place at IDIKA. The process will be announced to the general public within a week, so that immediately afterwards, on a date set by the Ministry of Labor, the application process begins.

The required certificates are as follows:

  1. Death certificate.
  2. Certificate of close relatives.
  3. Certificate of publication or non-testament.
  4. Certificate of renunciation of inheritance.
  5. Certificate of non-infringement of inheritance law.

Special cases

Also in relation to the cases of pensioners who in the recent retroactive payments did not receive retroactively or received them incorrectly, the Ministry of Labor has announced that it will proceed in December (if EFKA does not receive the next payments by the end of November), to make a second complementary refund.

This is the special case of pensioners who paid their main pension for the first time after June 2015, but requested retirement in May 2016. These retirees, regardless of the Fund, from the public or private sector, either did not receive it retroactively. while they were entitled to it, or received less amounts than they are entitled to. Within this special group of retirees there are two speeds:

1 Those who received their monthly pension for the first time within the period June 2015 – May 2016 received or will receive with the continuous payment a part of the retroactive rights and will receive the rest in the additional payment that will come in the second year and at the end of the year. For example, a pensioner who paid his pension for the first time in January 2016, received it retroactively for the months of January to May 2016. He owes the months of July to December 2015, which he will receive in a second payment until 31 / 12.

2Those who paid their pension for the first time after May 2016 but had applied for it before, have now not received it retroactively. If they had the unconstitutional cuts and are retroactively entitled, they will receive the full amount to which they are entitled in the next payment.
