Who is Christos Tarantilis?
Christos Tarantilis is a professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly ASOEE).
He was elected as a New Democracy MP in the 2019 Greek parliamentary elections and is secretary of the Standing Committee on Educational Affairs, as well as a member of the Special Standing Committee on Research and Technology of Parliament, while also serving as a member of the Constitutional Review Committee. in the fall of 2019. in 2013 he held the position of Full Professor in the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has been president of the Department of Management Science and Technology and director of the research unit “Business research and decision systems” at the same University for a decade. In addition, he was a member of the editorial board of the renowned American magazine “Networks” (Wiley Publishing House), president and member of the committees of numerous international scientific congresses in the field of management science, business and innovation.
He was also appointed New Democracy Secretary for Strategic Planning and Communication in January 2017 and has since served on the close staff of Kyriakos Mitsotakis associates until the 2019 parliamentary elections.
Christos Tarantilis has been evaluated for more than ten consecutive years, as the professor with the highest evaluation in the university by the students of the Department of Science and Technology of the Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
