In the village of Raptopoulos, by order of the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalia, and a decision of the Secretary General of Civil Protection, Vassilios Papageorgiou, it was decided to take restrictive measures by “closing down” the village, as a great dispersion.
According to the information, 30 of the approximately 150 inhabitants of the village have tested positive for the coronavirus, while 7 are intubated. In fact, the spread of the virus appears to have taken place at a birthday party, while the majority of those who tested positive for the coronavirus are members of 3-4 families who participated in the celebration.
It is observed that after the inspections carried out by EODY’s Mobile Health Teams (KOMY) in the adjacent villages of the Agrafa municipality (Granitsa, Lepiana, Paleokatouna, Itea Agrafon, Dafnoula and Voulpi) no positive cases were detected in this area, except in the widest area. it was decided to close only Raptopoulos.
The decided measures
The temporary imposition of a domiciliary restriction on the residents of the mentioned village and the temporary elimination of the possibility of their movement outside the limits of the geographical unity of the local communities of their municipality.
Serve the Central Greece Region and the Municipality of Agrafa for the supply and provision of basic needs (food, medicine, etc.) of the villagers and for any type of assistance in cases of residents with chronic diseases and distress.
In charge of the Regional Administration of Fire Services (PE.PY.D.) of Central Greece for the assistance to personnel and means, where and when it is necessary.
According to Civil Protection: “These restrictive measures are effective from the issuance of the resolution for 7 days, that is until 12-15-2020, when their removal or extension will be reevaluated. The Hellenic Police is in charge of supervising and taking all the necessary actions to comply with the geographical and domiciliary restriction of the inhabitants of the village of Raptopoulos. “
