October will be a historic month for the development of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine, as it will decide if it will be available even in November.
As transmitted by your correspondent HEAVEN in Brussels, Giannis PaleologosEuropean Union officials in Brussels told reporters that if the results of the third phase, which ends in October, are positive, then the European Union, which is in negotiations with the company, has agreed to start the vaccine immediately. The agreement stipulates that 30 million quotas have been delivered to Europe by the end of December.
In fact, as the European official pointed out, the vaccine will be distributed to Member States in proportion to the population and according to estimates in Greece at the end of December it will correspond to 600,000 doses of vaccine.
Of course, a precondition for the realization of this optimistic and pleasant scenario is the positive development of the third phase of the Oxford University vaccine.
