Polytechnic: Tense climate in AUTh – Concentration in student residences

[ad_1]

A climate of tension prevailed in front of dormitory A of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where about 50 people gathered, holding poles and shouting slogans against the police.

The gathered people who, according to local media, belong to the anti-authoritarian space, left Hestia but found very strong police forces in front of them that prevented any possibility of their movement towards the universities.

According to GRTIMES, within a few minutes those gathered returned to their homes.

The police have a very strict line regarding compliance with the measures and seem determined to avoid the possibility of a march.

It is typical how on Egnatia de Agiou Dimitriou street on September 3 and in the surrounding streets, police from various services control the movement of citizens and allow access to the AUTh only to those who work in the institution or want to go to the AHEPA hospital who also it keeps in close.
