A poignant incident confirming that the dog is man’s most loyal friend occurred in the Raches Fthiotida area.
A dog jumped into the hearse carrying his master’s body, while at the time of the funeral he was standing outside the temple door. He then followed his boss to the cemetery, where the burial took place.
According to lamireport.gr, a dog hears the name of Lakis and had to see his elderly boss for about two months, after he was treated for a serious health problem.
This morning, however, when the body was being transported in the hearse, the dog jumped up and refused to go down.
When they reached the church of San Charalambos, the dog attempted to enter the temple, but was not allowed to leave, and during the procession sat outside the door of the temple.
He then followed his boss to the village cemetery and after the burial ended he refused to leave.
