Schools of all levels will open on January 11, government spokesman Stelios Petsas clarified to SKAI and Giorgos Avtias.
Mr. Petsas emphasized that yesterday Saturday a precautionary measure was announced to open schools safely.
As he explained with the decision of confinement for a week, the experts also facilitate themselves, since they will know that the situation will improve. He said suspended activities will resume this week on January 11.
The government spokesman said the government will continue to support society and the economy because it cares, but also because it can, once it has gained credibility in the markets. As promised, the government in 2021 will continue to develop measures or relief for those affected by the coronavirus “always with prudence, logic and humanity.”
The government’s priority is to reduce the tax burden, be it taxes or levies. We will continue supporting the economy and society affected by the pandemic, we will not let it become an avalanche and drown the old debt of the crisis, businessmen and individuals, Petsas said.
When asked to comment on reports of a shakeup, he stressed that “the new year is a new beginning,” but noted that decisions are made by the prime minister who knows best.
