PASOK: “boxers” don’t flourish again

[ad_1]

It is customary on round dates to hold events in memory of important events. But while last year, when 45 years passed, September 3 went almost unnoticed, this year it went viral during the new talk on social media.

It has already been written that PASOK has entered popular culture in a fun and sympathetic way. The bars that are forced to close at 12 at night close in a glorious and Dionysian way: “We will make the sun drink” on the tuning fork and the customers sing in the field.

In Elafonisos, a small group of young people who over the years acquired new members, had created the … “PASOK party” (PASOK.Exohiko), and during the summer they fed themselves with photos, where they posed with the flag of PASOK in the sand. On other beaches, bathers dug up old PASOK sun umbrellas and laid them on the sand fully rewarded, something they would not have thought to do a year ago.

Clearly all this regression shows nostalgia for “our best years”, shows a reminder of the days of carefree, carefree and easy money, of – considered then – as perspectives that were opening. By the time the bars are closing now, then the night would begin.

But this nostalgia is depoliticized. It mainly focuses on the season and the holiday was its trade name. Funny, friendly, affectionate, reminiscent, we know that they manifest en masse when something ends, when it is a memory, when it is not an organic element of political life, and does not threaten with its presence.

Furthermore, this nostalgia does not come from the many positive aspects that PASOK brought to Greek society, but mainly from its negatives: the massive hires, the “all the kilos all the money” subsidies, the fictitious and rich pensions, the extensive tax evasion. which allowed for voting reasons, the hundreds of thousands of arbitrariness that it allowed to be created and legitimized, and everything that the PASOK mandate temporarily allowed, so that people would feel happy and vote for it.

These are now lacking in people, and why? these were paid for by PASOK. Not because he did it but because he stopped doing it when entering the memos. By? this and its people went en masse to find their “rights” in SYRIZA.

ΚΙΝΑΛ

Of course, PASOK’s successor, KINAL, still maintains the more serious and politicized world of PASOK, as well as the world that is emotionally attached to it. However, his course is difficult precisely because he sees politics as a contribution to problem solving and not as a cheap complaint and hypocrisy.

An objective observation shows that during his parliamentary term last year, the proposals he presents are the fruit of technical preparation. Obviously due to the knowledge and experience of governance that it has incorporated. However, SYRIZA was also a government, but its announcements, as well as the statements of its executives, revive the gregarious incendiary expression of the 2011-15 period.

Yesterday, Fofi Gennimata symbolically presented the PASOK Health proposals with an emphasis on the NSS. The NSS was credited to George Gennimatas and Paraskevas Avgerinos, mainly the former, but it is a miserable suspicion that he did it to remind him of his father’s work and thereby to score personal points. I just wanted to link PASOK’s date of birth with one of his iconic works. After all, he had thought about it during the quarantine and journalists have known about it ever since.

The problem with KINAL is that his speech does not pass to the people. It is partly due to the way political dialogue takes place on Greek television, where the most deafening politicians are invited. But this is the situation, and it is your own problem to deal with it.

At the same time, KINAL loses in terms of impressions because it seems in debt to SYRIZA. Defend and protest that it is not “the tail of Mitsotakis” without going to the counterattack – when those who accuse are the co-governors of Panos Kammenos!

In any case, if there is a social polarization due to the economic consequences of the coronavirus, it will have to remain aggressive and critical in the SO, but it will have to become more militant against SYRIZA, and without guilt. There is your Achilles heel. Not only Tsipras but also… “Spirtzides”.

The former SYRIZA minister and current SYRIZA MP yesterday posted a photo of Andreas with the September 3 statement, commenting: “Faithful to our principles and values …”. Faithful as SYRIZA in the declaration of September 3!

That is, is it necessary to be Pasok to consider it a graveyard and a political act?
