Parliament’s doctor “left” at 51 due to a coronavirus

The news of his death sowed immense pain in Parliament parliament physician Ioannis Mitropoulos, who was recently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Sotiria hospital, “struck” by a coronavirus and with an underlying illness.

The 52-year-old doctor provided medical services to Parliament for years and was especially loved by MPs, employees and journalists.

For the loss of o President of Parliament Konstantinos Tassoulas expressed his deepest condolences to his family and stated that:

“Dr. Giannis Mitropoulos has been a distinguished scientist, a good family man and a worthy contributor to the Parliament’s Health Service, having offered important services to employees and MPs for several years. His loss impacts us all – Mr. Tassoulas stressed – because he was always by the side of those who needed him, both humanly and scientifically ”.

His wife Ioannis Mitropoulos was also hospitalized with Covid-19 and managed to overcome the severe test for her health, being discharged for Saturday.
