The bomb disposal team is already in place and no explosions have been reported so far.
The building is safe
Finally, the first investigations by New York police officers and a specially trained dog revealed that there were no suspicious objects. So the phone call turned out to be a hoax.

After the destruction of the Twin Towers by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Empire State Building was rebuilt and remained the tallest building in all of New York until April 30, 2012, when it was surpassed by the World Trade Center 1.
The threat comes two days after a caravan exploded in downtown Nashville.
